The router clears quality on lean models more often now.
We tightened the escalation logic: the Pareto router now tries a lean model on 12% more task shapes before reaching for a frontier one — and the gates say quality held. Your credits go further; nothing about the checks got softer.
- Model receipts now show the escalation trail, not just the final pick. If a lean model missed a check, you'll see it — we think that's a feature.
- Checkpoint timeline on every loop: restore to any iteration as a new branch. Nothing is ever destroyed.
The honest bit: loops occasionally got too enthusiastic overnight and burned their weekly window by Wednesday. We added a leash — the credit-weather pill now warns at "watch", and a user-set ceiling stops them cold.

Loops learned to say "I might be stuck."
The worst feeling with an autonomous tool is not knowing. Every loop now carries a heartbeat: a steady pulse while it's making real progress, an irregular one when it's spinning. Three rounds without progress and it pauses itself and asks — instead of quietly eating your credits.
- Session recaps: a human-readable "what the agent did", not a transcript.
- The first-build flow: new accounts make one real thing in the first five minutes.

Small things that were quietly annoying.
- The macOS app updates itself now — a quiet pill in the menu bar, never a forced restart, never mid-loop.
- Dark mode reached the last few corners (login, legal, the waitlist). Warm graphite, not battleship gray.
- Scouts stopped narrating. Loading is a calm one-liner now; "having a think" beats a play-by-play.
The honest bit: for three days the empty-questions screen said "Suspiciously quiet…" even while questions were loading. Funny once, wrong twice. Loading and empty are different states and now look it.
